Sandcastle Diner in Bayville

Our son lives in Beachwood and Everytime we visit from N. Carolina we must eat a few times at Sand Castle diner.

The food is delicious! Like home cooking. Also great friendly service.

Lunch today. Service was very good, food was tasty, seasoned correctly. Refills on tea and coffee was prompt. Lost one star because i was freezing! But I will go back often because of the food!

Food was good but french fries are not included with sandwiches. If you add them in it can become a little pricey. Coffee was good and plentiful. A local favorite.

Very good service. Staff was very nice and accommodated us. Staff was cleaning all areas after each visitor. We went there twice in one weekend!

The food and service was excellent.

Best place for any meal. Waitresses are GREAT !! Show up from time to time and they always remember you and what you like to eat and drink. Chefs are excellent !!

It was great as always miss my favorite dinner glad they are back even of u have to eat outside.

Food was good. Watch the sales tax, they are still charging 7% and not saying a word to customers.

We always stop and eat at the Sand castle when we are at the shore house. Friendly staff, super fast service, great food. Perfect Jersey diner .

The food and service were good and it was awesome of the owner to extend a military discount to us. B+ Would have been a 5 ⭐ if they offered it on a regular basis to all Veterans consistently. When you so much as ask if they offer it because you have received it there before you are pretty much called a liar. Overall this visit was a good time though.

Always a great place to eat.

As a family we ate there last night. Daughter got there first & was seated. A little while after we got there. We were asked if we minded moving. We were then moved to the other end of the diner. NO complaints about the waitress. None of this mad me happy. Both of our adult children order some sort of fried chicken. Today they are both sick. UGH

The food is always good and affordable. Staff is great too.

Awesome, had a Reuben! My sister and I where there for lunch. I wasn't disappointed! The diner was my mom's favorite! I cannot say how many meals I have enjoyed at this great diner. Soup was great! And rice pudding great. The food is still one of the best in the area and service was fantastic. Best diner by far!!!

The Castle, as our family calls it, has been the place to meet for generations! From the oldest to the youngest of us, we can all find something good to eat! And the service is amazing. The management must be wonderful because the staff always seems happy! With so many familiar faces, we feel right at home there. Thank you all for serving our community! And great addition with the Diner-saur!!!

Nice owner, good service, it's a diner. Had breakfast was very good, homefries dry but I added butter. My bacon and egg were good, but they over browned my husband's bacon omelette, and he had asked for them not to do that beforehand. They made good on a new one though so everything was good, I'd rate them an 8 out of ten. Coffee cake muffin was delicious.

Juicy barbecue chicken, great barbecue sauce. Delicious eggplant. Omelette was perfectly cooked. Good french fries and tasty beef barley soup. My ribs were dry and hard.

This establishment is the best little Dinner to hit Bayville NJ. Food is to die for, staff is awesome management is always there helping their staff move along and make the best possible experience possible. Stop here and you will never be disappointed.

Food is always good for diner fare. Prices are reasonable and the staff is very friendly. Family run business that feels like it is and many of the staff has been there for years. I appreciate that in a restaurant, it shows they're being treated well.

Sand Castle Diner is the best place to go! The people that work there (especially Anna) are the nicest people working at any diner! The food is also excellent!!

There aren't too many options for diners in South Jersey alone the coast off Route 9. However this little diamond in the rough provides good food and has been consistent in quality the few times I've visited. I recommend this diner to people traveling South of Toms River along the Barnegat Bay, as it's open later than most other local joints and offers quality diner food when in a bind for a late night craving. Noteworthy burgers.

Awesome food, fast and easy - I've been coming here since I was a child and the quality of the food and service always satisfies. By far my absolute favorite place for breakfast.

Sandcastle diner NEVER disappoints us and We always leave comfortably full and really satisfied.. definitely not fancy by any means with old outdated interior but food is hot and tasty.. my go to is the Lulu breakfast sandwich and we tried the Burger lunch special today which included a yummy soup and tasty ice cream for a fair price!!.. and was enjoyed by all..left full with big grins .. server was attentive, friendly, and accommodating.. we did find it strange the server was eating chicken wings food in front of us and licking her fingers but she was too nice to think much of it.. thank you Sandcastle for a great lunch!
